Nous avons reçu Éric FRASIAK en duo acoustique avec Benoît DANGIEN au piano, et nous avons passé une soirée extraordinaire. Il faut être là pour comprendre, vibrer à chaque nouvelle chanson. Je suis incapable de vous faire partager avec mes mots sans musique ce que les chansons nous ont apporté.
We received Éric FRASIAK in an acoustic duet with Benoît DANGIEN on the piano, and we had an extraordinary evening. You have to be there to understand, to vibrate with each new song. I am unable to share with you with my words without music what the songs have brought us.

Éric nous fait partager de l’émotion pure, Benoît l’accompagne à la voix, au piano, avec lui aussi un immense talent.
Eric shares pure emotion with us, Benoît accompanies him on the voice, on the piano, he too has great talent.

Je suis contente car il y avait beaucoup de nouvelles personnes dans l’assistance : nous ne voulons pas devenir un petit groupe de toujours les mêmes copains, nous voulons partager avec un maximum de gens nos soirées décontractées mais avec des artistes de grand talent.
I’m happy because there were a lot of new people in the audience: we don’t want to become a small group of always the same friends, we want to share with as many people as possible our relaxed evenings but with artists of great talent.

Et puis, quand on croyait que c’était l’heure de se dire au revoir, Eric a repris sa guitare et Benoît s’est remis au piano pour quelques chansons. Un cadeau qu’ils nous ont fait là. C’est le moment où j’ai tiré leur portrait, instantanés d’un moment magique. Merci à vous deux…
And then, when we thought it was time to say goodbye, Eric picked up his guitar and Benoît went back to the piano for a few songs. A gift they gave us there. This is when I shot their portrait, snapshots of a magical moment. Thanks to you two…

Je parle souvent de chansons à texte, chansons de paroles, Eric m’a fait remarquer que cette précision ne devrait pas être nécessaire : par définition, la chanson, c’est un texte… Les (vrais) amateurs de (vraie) chanson déplorent les produits de l’industrie du disque avec des textes insipides servis par des accords, toujours les mêmes, indéfiniment répétés.
Mais ces (vrais) chanteurs, où seront-ils demain ? J’aimerais tant que leur talent soit reconnu et qu’il y ait beaucoup plus de public pour les découvrir.
I often talk about songs with texts, songs with words, Eric pointed out to me that this clarification shouldn’t be necessary: by definition, the song is a text… (Real) lovers of (real) song lament the products of the record industry with insipid texts served by chords, always the same, indefinitely repeated.
But these (real) singers, where will they be tomorrow? I would love for their talent to be recognized and for them to be a lot more people to discover them.

A part ça ? On dirait bien que je suis guérie, mais mon ordinateur ne l’est toujours pas. Par chance, j’ai récupéré sur celui de Paul les données qui me permettent de sortir ce blog de son assoupissement. Pour faire simple, j’écris court et pour les photos, il y a de la fantaisie…
