La route après le col de la Croix Haute (et même avant) longe fréquemment la voie du chemin de fer. Nous ne savons pas si les trains passent, tant de trains sont remplacés par des bus ! Par endroit, aucun doute, la voie est détruite. Plus loin, tout est en parfait état, cette voie en pointillés représente un mystère.

The road after the Col de la Croix Haute (and even before) frequently runs alongside the railway line. We don’t know if the trains pass, so many trains are replaced by buses! Heureusement, j’ai la bonne idée de photographier ces affichettes sur les murs de Forcalquier : elles me permettent de découvrir « l’étoile ferroviaire de Veynes » : en résumé ce collectif réclame une vraie réhabilitation à coups de manifestations variées, y compris des fêtes et des lamentations ! Les trains reviennent ou vont revenir bientôt sur ces lignes, quelle bonne nouvelle ! Dans les années 70, Paul et moi avions pris le Grenoble-Nice, par une voie étroite, à l’occasion d’un voyage inoubliable.

Fortunately, I have the good idea to photograph these posters on the walls of Forcalquier: they allow me to discover « l’étoile ferroviaire de Veynes », « the railway star of Veynes »: in summary this collective calls for a real rehabilitation through various demonstrations, including parties and wailing! The trains are returning or will return soon on these lines, what good news! In the 1970s, Paul and I took the Grenoble-Nice, by a narrow gauge, on the occasion of an unforgettable trip.

En visitant ce site, j’ai trouvé une vidéo qui raconte comment « dans les montagnes italiennes le train a terrassé la voiture ».

Il faut toujours que je fouine partout. Dans la région où nous nous trouvions, les affichages qui attirent ma sympathie sont nombreux.

Cette fois, quand je veux aller sur le site d’acseipica, l’ordinateur me prévient, ce site est suspect, je risque de me faire voler mes codes secrets, je risque un accès à mes innombrables comptes bancaires et que toute ma fortune soit détournée par des malfrats…

Je n’ai pas raté non plus un autre thème de lutte soutenu par « Lure en résistance », le collectif Elzeard, du nom de « l’homme qui plantait des arbres », une des œuvres très célèbres de Giono. Il est évident que ce collectif s’intéresse à la montagne de Lure.
« Le défrichage est prêt à commencer pour l’installation d’un Parc Photovoltaïque ». D’où les photos que je vous ai déjà montrées la semaine dernière. Je n’ai aucune certitude, mais quoi d’autre qu’un parc de ce type pourrait justifier ici la présence de ces machines et cette zone défrichée ?

Et voilà qu’un chemin balisé (circuit de la Roche Ruinée) nous fait passer par le parc Photovoltaïque de FONTIENNE La Roche et Florimonde. Dans ce secteur de la balade, le chemin est défoncé par les engins, d’abord c’est moche et ensuite c’est difficile de marcher dans des endroits pareils, c’est très inconfortable, parfois dangereux.

And now a marked path (Roche Ruinée circuit) takes us through the Photovoltaic Park of FONTIENNE La Roche and Florimonde. In this sector of the walk, the path is rutted by machinery, first it is ugly and then it is difficult to walk in such places, it is very uncomfortable, sometimes dangerous.

Je n’allais pas remarquer ces affichages divers sans vous en faire profiter… Vous voilà généreusement dotés de liens sur lesquels vous cliquez, ou pas… Libre à vous. Je trouve toujours intéressant pour ma part de prendre conscience de ce qui peut se passer dans ces endroits où l’on fait de brefs séjours.

I was not going to notice these various displays without making you benefit from them… Here you are generously endowed with links on which you click, or not… It is up to you. I always find it interesting for me to become aware of what can happen in these places where we make short stays.

Après les marchés de Forcalquier puis de Banon, celui de mercredi se tient « chez nous », à Saint-Étienne-les-Orgues . C’est le plus petit des trois, occasion de bavarder avec des jardiniers qui proposent des échanges de graines, de plants… Quel dommage, mais comment savoir que j’aurais pu apporter mes récoltes de graines ? Un vendeur d’épices et aromates est tout content que nous connaissions le poivre du Sichuan : au moins, nous, nous savons pourquoi cette délicieuse graine se vend si cher.

After the markets of Forcalquier then Banon, the one on Wednesday is held « at home », in Saint-Étienne-les-Orgues. It’s the smallest of the three, an opportunity to chat with gardeners who offer exchanges of seeds, plants… What a shame, but how do I know that I could have brought my seed crops? A spice and herb seller is glad we know about Sichuan pepper: at least we know why this delicious seed sells for so much.

Nous faisons un tour rapide d’Ongles, et de Lardiers, dont le nom pourrait venir de ladrerie qui évoque la léproserie. Nous sommes proches de l’Hospitalet : les hospitaliers y avaient sans doute un hôpital.

We take a quick tour of Ongles, and Lardiers, whose name could come from ladrerie, which evokes the leper colony. We are close to L’Hospitalet: the Hospitallers probably had a hospital there.

Puis nous faisons ce qui sera la plus belle balade de notre séjour, au départ de l’Abbaye Notre-Dame-de-Lure. Je regrette de ne pas être peintre, j’aurais torché tous mes tubes de gris et d’orangés. La hêtraie est superbe, nous enfonçons parfois dans les feuillages jusqu’à mi-mollet ! Le ciel est gris comme tout au long de notre séjour, mais il fait doux.

Then we do what will be the most beautiful walk of our stay, starting from the Abbey of Notre-Dame-de-Lure. I regret not being a painter, I would have emptied all my tubes with gray and orange. The beech forest is superb, we sometimes sink in the foliage up to mid-calf! The sky is gray as throughout our stay, but it is mild.

Grâce aux photos que j’ai faites au prieuré, où la signalétique est bien faite, j’identifie ces anémones hépatiques. Leur ressemblance avec du plastique les rend très faciles à reconnaître.

Thanks to the photos I took at the priory, where the signage is well done, I identify these hepathica nobilis. Their resemblance to plastic makes them very easy to recognize.
