Tu as raison, Geneviève !
You are right, Geneviève! Innimont is much further to the left. What I call Innimont, in reality is the mountain of Tentanet. The worst part is that I memorized well this kind of huge sloping meadow that you walk along when you do the circuit from the orientation table at Innimont. Even blurry at the limit of the zoom of my Canon, it is easily recognized. Since the arrival of your comment at the end of my previous post, I have been looking to photograph Innimont and the mountain, but the light does not really collaborate.
Innimont, or Innimond, we find the two writings.

I insist on taking pictures, always from the same window. The one where I watch for mower thieves, farm work, the coming of a storm or a rainbow.

Once again posted there, once again framing the landscape identical and never the same, this time I see a flight of pigeons come to nibble the seeds just buried. Gray on gray, blurry …

But from this point of view, we dont see Innimont. In fact, Innimont is precisely behind the ash tree, the one that takes the left half of the photo. On Sunday at ten in the morning, the mist was still there and it was not a question of seeing the Tentanet, nor Innimont.

So I tried to do some spotting on the web, by visiting a few hiking sites in this region (there are many!).

I found a lot of possible walks at this address, the maps of which put ants and pins and needles in the legs.

In this screenshot where the circuit is in the shape of a lasso, the long straight line following the ridge runs along the meadow mentioned above. Let’s follow this straight line in the order of the numbering (marking the kilometers). The meadow, here it is:

After the meadow, continue along the ridge line, descending to the orientation table. In the background and in full sun, the ridge line and the village of Innimont, invisible, hidden by the mountain in the foreground.

Reculons,
Let’s go back,

reculons encore,
back again,

and let us locate the spot of sun of the previous photo on this one,

and finally we see on the same photo the mountain of Tentanet on the far right and Innimont in the middle of the photo.

Arriving there, I have serious doubts about my ability to become a high mountain guide, medium mountain, or even low mountain, if that exists …

In « orientation », there is « orient » which means « East », but we say « to lose the north » (« to lose one’s bearings » – « to be dared and confused » – « to lose one’s way »). Whereas in « disorienting » it is again east that we have lost. You can also lose the compass, it indicates either East or North, you just need to … ORIENT it.
To be confused… To lose the course, its marbles, the head…
In Portuguese, you are not confused but « disnorthing »:  « estar desnorteado ».

On expressio (but you have to be registered to view) I found a tasty expression:

« In the south of France, we also say“ to lose the tramontane ”. But this is not an allusion to the wind of the same name coming from the north / northwest. It is indeed the pole star that is targeted because, for southerners, it appears above the mountains to the north. »

What news after this attempt to find my bearings?
During the first week of October, it rained more rain than during the whole month of September, but here the risk of flooding is close to zero: the day the Charbinat is drowned, there will be only the Alps to overtake the water.

This humidity has caught some colds and caused sinusitis in others: I gave everyone the recipe for this miracle remedy called in Occitan « aïgo boulido », « boiled water ». Garlic, onion, laurel and thyme are boiled in salted water for a few minutes. Others also use sage. Traditionally, I guess you harvested what you found. These plants have a powerful disinfectant power.

When you don’t feel well, you drink the liquid as hot as possible. But for the gourmet version, rub garlic on bread, put it on the plate, pour olive oil on it and then the famous « aïgo boulido », it’s excellent and invigorating!

I hate to drink salty or sweet thyme tea. So when I still have a bad cold, I make this delicious soup.

When winter is dry, we should not confuse « cold » and « humidity », some watering is sometimes essential: we will have time to think about it. After the heavy rains, Paul and I take advantage of the sunshine to take new walks or « revise » the old ones: we could invent new circuits starting from here or there.

The photos that do not speak of Innimont or Tantenet were taken during these walks.
